Job Summary:
This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor with primary role of receiving and processing of incoming inventory and materials, picking and packing of released orders, and organizing and retrieving of inventory in the warehouse.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for daily warehouse operations and administrations.
Accurate Picking and Packing of released orders
Receives and inspects incoming inventory
Ensure all inventory transaction records are updated
Keeping & maintaining records of all the inbound /outbound material on daily basis
Ensure warehouse areas are well organized and maintained
Perform inventory count on regular basis
Maintenance of cleanliness at warehouse
Well versed with computer applications
Perform ad-hoc duties when assigned
Able to operate MHE with Forklift license is a must
Skill Requirements:
Detail-oriented, independent, and hardworking.
Able to work independently and together as a team in fast-paced environment
Strong ethics & professional integrity required
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Willingness to take ownership of task assigned and strive for continuous improvement

Required/ Preferred Education and Experience:
Minimum Diploma in logistics and/or warehousing
3 – 5 years working experience in warehouse and logistic environment

Job Description:
You will be part of a tight, close-knit warehouse team that manages the daily operational warehouse functions for THE PROVIDORE SINGAPORE (“Company”) and THE WINE DISTRIBUTION COMPANY (TWDC).
Together as a team, you will support the Warehouse & Logistics Manager in ensuring proper maintenance of warehouse inventory, updating of shipment records, ordering of required items and ensuring accurate information is put on record.
Safe movement or inventory and materials across facilities; sorting, organizing and storing of inventory in proper locations
Picking, packing and labeling of items correctly, ensuring accurate processing of inventory for delivery
Removing inventory from trucks / shipment delivery for stocking or delivery to proper locations
Checking of delivered items to ensure quality / quantity is correct
Reporting of any possible damaged or missing inventory to direct Supervisor
Stacking and organizing of large / bulky items using proper machinery where required
Updating of logs and documentation for inventory processing
Generation of Purchase Orders / Delivery Orders, and due follow-up tasks
Maintenance of good housekeeping in warehouse and retail spaces
Ensure workplace is free of debris and removal of safety hazards from aisles
Adhere to safe operating procedures and workplace safety at all times
Assist is preparation of documentation and inventory for audits
Any other skill-development or ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Job Requirements:
Prior related experience in a warehouse environment will be advantageous but not necessary as training and guidance will be provided!

About the job
You are part of the in-store logistics team facilitating the store’s daily needs in the movement of goods to transport incoming goods and handling materials to the designated location within the warehouse boundaries.
Adhering to standard operating procedures, you help to ensure efficient goods flow and accurate inventory counts as well as following waste management guidelines in maintaining the cleanliness of the work area.
Verify articles received against corresponding paperwork and note any discrepancies to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
Operate pallet jack to move pallets of products and properly store/stage all pallets in assigned locations.
Remove and properly document all damages found or caused on incoming merchandises.
Supporting the team, you assist in refilling, unloading and merchandise pick-up, checks and administer incoming goods and places goods in designated areas as needed.
Working closely with your colleagues, you also help to keep the store well stocked with the right goods, ensure a safe place to work for co-workers and yourself by using the correct equipment and following our safety guidelines.
Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned.
Your profile
You have experience in warehousing operations and a good track record in workplace safety.
You are a self-motivated team player with a desire to take on responsibility and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Energetic and physically fit, you must enjoy hands-on physical work and have a keen interest in warehouse logistics.
Prior experience in using Reach truck / Stacker, license for forklift is favorable.
You are able to commit to shift work commencing from 6.00am – morning shifts, 14:00pm – afternoon shifts, and working on rotating shifts including weekend and public holiday.
