About the Position:
Shifts Available:
Weekend Shift – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (12-Hour Shifts) – 5:15 am to 5:45 pm (A weekend premium of 4 hours is paid for completing an entire scheduled shift for the week).

Requirements:

A global manufacturer in Maple Ridge is looking for a shop helper to join our growing team. Tsubaki is undertaking a significant modernization, by adding CNC equipment, to improve our manufacturing capabilities in British Columbia. The facility is in the Ruskin area of Maple Ridge BC.

$20.00 to $23.00/hr depending on experience.

The ability to help as needed in a manufacturing environment is the key to this role. You will take direction from senior employees who require help in the various manufacturing departments. Forklift use and the ability to complete a crane certification course are also necessary. The ideal candidate will be able to also take on some of the painting duties of our inventory. We are expanding and modernizing our facility, this is a great opportunity to improve your skills and experience. The right candidate will be able to expand this role into an apprenticeship with Tsubaki.

We will train and start you at our entry level wage if you have no experience $17/hr. But if you have experience come interview us, we would love to hear from you and what you can bring to the team with experience. Some experienced shop staff can make up to 24$ an hour or more!

Shifts:

We are very flexible at Paramount and want to ensure our team members can pick up their kids, spend time with their families and have the flexibility to work and make their personal commitments. Our standard Day shift is 6:00am-2:30pm Monday to Friday and our evening shift is 2:30pm to 1:30 am. However, if you need to start at 7am-9am we can accommodate.

THE POSITION

Use of tape measure and verniers.
Load/unload materials manually or via forklift.
Package orders into bundles, pallets, or skids.
