Frequently makes rounds of areas of responsibility to ensure proper coverage, observe Peace Officers performance and routine operations
Supervises protection and security of County property and equipment from damage or theft.
Reports fires, safety hazards and illegal activities of persons on County property and takes necessary measures to correct.
Supervises detention of persons causing physical damage to an individual or County property.
Ensures that materials or equipment are not moved illegally.
Provides emergency assistance to people needing help and those requiring the services of governmental agencies in an effective and efficient manner.
Supervises and promotes positive work environment for pleasant attitudes of citizens toward governmental agencies.
Reports unusual conditions or questionable items to the Director/Lieutenant.
Performs similar or related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

The primary responsibility of the Officer – Security is to provide for the safety and protection of guests, team members, and company property. Oversees the transportation and exchange of all money transactions between the cage, count room, and casino games including fills, slot drops and jackpot payouts.
Patrols and/or periodically inspects assigned areas constantly on the lookout for undesirable persons whose presence on the property is not considered to be in the best interest of the hotel/casino management or its guests.
Investigates all incidents, accidents, and/or events to include: taking initial report and conducting interviews with appropriate follow-up.
Maintains a visible and accessible profile among casino guests and team members to create a sense of security, to deter potential problems, and to answer questions.

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner

Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

Job Description
The Security Worker is responsible for maintaining the security of people and/or property in assigned area(s). Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, assisting clients, customers, and visitors to and on site, enforcing site regulations, reporting safety hazards, assisting with traffic control, etc. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
Job Responsibilities
Provides internal/external patrol of buildings and surrounding property
Locks and unlocks doors to permit entry at appropriate times
Checks buildings and work areas when not open for business
Monitors camera’s, alarm systems, access control and admits appropriate personnel per authorized staff lists
Conducts ongoing inspections of buildings and grounds to detect safety violations and hazards
Prepares Safety Condition Reports and work orders where appropriate
Responds to all emergency situations
Establishes contact with local Fire/Police officials for assistance
Takes possession of found property
Escorts guests, visitors, and employees
Conducts investigations and inspections
Prepares accurate and complete written reports
Maintains strict confidentiality of security information
Provides non-liable information to guests, visitors, and staff
Control parking and vehicular traffic

Protects property and staff by maintaining safe and secure surroundings

Qualifications
Previous experience as a security officer preferred
This position requires the ability to gather and interpret information and to accurately complete required reporting procedures
Officers should be knowledgeable in search and seizure, constitutional rights, investigative, and interviewing techniques
Officers work independently and under indirect supervision
Officers are required to maintain daily contact with a wide range of people including guests, Fire/Police officials, and employees
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all investigations, incidents, etc.
Must hold proper license based on state/local regulations
Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 25 lb
Requires frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs
Must be able to work – days, nights, overnights, weekends, holidays as required by location
