Position Summary:
The Package Delivery Driver position is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 – 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs. Package Delivery Drivers must have excellent customer contact and driving skills. Qualified applicants must have a valid driver’s G or higher license issued in the state of Ontario. Package Delivery Drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided vest/uniform.

Work Location: 2900 Steeles Avenue West, Concord, ON L4K 3S2
Workdays: Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday
Shift Start: 9:00AM (Flexibility required)
Shift Duration: 8-10 hours per day
Responsibilities and Duties:
Deliver and pick-up packages in an efficient and effective manner
Follow and execute company-established safe/defensive driving methods
Assist with loading/unloading the trucks as required
Record, track and maintain information about delivered packages
Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg)
Ability to read and navigate with maps/map books
Valid Ontario G Driver’s License
Clean Driver’s Abstract showing:
a) No violations for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)
b) No accidents and maximum 5 demerit points for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)
Compensation and Benefits:
Wage: $20.00/hr ($17.00/hr + hourly bonus $3.00/hr) guaranteed wage progression through Union Collective Agreement – $35.78 per hour after seniority plus 48 months of service.

Review trip log, truck, and trailer inspection sheet.
Check bills and delivery paperwork to plan delivery/pick-up route.
Verify each pick-up/delivery location has trailers to load and unload products.
Using a delivery truck, transport finished products from Tremco warehouses to GTA locations within scheduled date and time
Perform routine housekeeping ensuring delivery trucks and trailers are safe for operation.
Sweep trailers and wash batteries.
Load and unload trailers as needed.
Input load sheets and PO’s into SAP for inventory control.
Using appropriate equipment, pick and place finished products on shipping pallet based on pick slip.
Perform physical inventory by counting and verifying quantity of finished products against pick slip.
Wrap and package pallet prepare for shipping. This includes putting on address labels for each pallet and posting picked order to SAP (Goods issue).
Follow safe work procedures and practices
Recognize and report hazards § Attend health and safety meetings
Participate in training, audits and inspections
Comply with legal duties and Tremco safety policies and procedures
All employees are liable under the Criminal Code of Canada as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act to take every reasonable precaution in the circumstances for the protection of workers
EDUCATION:

Job Summary
How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for loading food, supplies, or other products (such as machines) and delivering them to various locations in an area.
As a Delivery Driver, you will:
Assemble and deliver all supplies to the scheduled locations
Prior to beginning each day’s route, ensure that truck/vehicle is properly loaded with all products required to properly service all scheduled deliveries
Unload requested products at delivery site
Collect empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise
Return items such as unused food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils
Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre & post trip vehicle inspections
Perform other duties as assigned
About you:
A valid driver’s license and good driving record is required
Must possess a valid Responsible Beverage Service Certificate for the province in which you are applying where required by law
