Job Description
Handle enquiries through phone calls and emails
To accurately note down messages or relevant information, when and where appropriate
Assigning enquiries to the relevant departments if needed
Familiarity with the respective departments and their roles
Greet and welcome any walk in visitors or stakeholders, answering their queries and re-directing them to the correct point of contact
Responsible for all correspondence or small parcel dispatches by post or local / overseas courier
Maintain and update postage records
Receive stocks or deliveries, logging and issuing of purchase orders
Checking of invoices and delivery orders before submission to Accounts department for payment process
Manage the reception area of the office and ensure that the area is tidy and clean
Filing, faxing, copying and performing other general admin duties
Understanding the needs of the customers with a sense of empathy and professionalism
Requirements:
Diploma in any discipline
Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service preferred
Experience in hospitality or healthcare-related role is a plus
An active listener with a pleasant nature with an ability in critical thinking
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure
Ability to work resourcefully, independently and with urgency
Highly organized and attentive to details
Proficient and comfortable adopting technology and software tools (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, CRM, etc.)
Mature, self-motivated and independent but also able to work cohesively with others
