Singapore Dance Alliance (SDA) is a non-profit organisation that holds events related to dance and dance education that aims to develop more awareness and appreciation in dance in Singaporeans.
Responsibilities
The position of Administrative Assistant requires a versatile individual with multiple skills to carry out the following job scope:
1. Manage all communications with participants for events organized by SDA
2. Reply to all inquiries received about events organised by SDA
3. Managing registrations of all events organised by SDA
4. Keeping the social media channels of SDA active by planning ahead for the posts, thinking of new ideas for marketing
5. Prepare caption contents for social media posts, working with designers to translate ideas into materials to be posted
6. Execution of the social media posts according to the schedule and contents prepared
7. Collection, collation, and cataloging of data of participants and inquiries
8. Construction of a “Frequently Asked Question” list using information, inquiries and issues encountered in the process of performing tasks
9. Assist in designing the standard operating procedures of events
10. Setting up of Front of House and backstage for events
11. Training of staff and volunteers
12. Managing of staff and volunteers
13. Correspondence and liaise with the relevant third-party personnel and vendors for events
14. Be proactive in planning ahead for the events
15. Getting ready all merchandise required for the events
14. Other ad hoc tasks assigned
Requirements:
Be able to work weekends during events
Meticulous, responsible and able to work independently
Conscientious worker who takes initiative and has a good sense of urgency
Organised
Computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint,
Knowledge of WordPress an advantage
Videography, photography, video and photo editing, design skills an advantage
Good personal and telephone etiquette and polite
Good writing skills
All nationalities welcome (foreigners working remotely can be considered)
Location: Dhoby Ghaut / Ulu Pandan / Remote
Work hours:
Mon to Fri: 9am – 5pm
Sat: 9am – 12pm (bonus pay)
Salary:
$2200 – $3500 (depending on experience)

Answer and direct phone calls
Organize and schedule meetings and appointments

Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
