RESPONSIBILITIES:
Familiar with Quick book account & Zoho account
• Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately
available when needed
• Notifying senior accountants of accounting errors
• Maintains historical records by ling documents
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other nancial statements
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records, inventory records etc. as assigned
• Assisting in preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
• Assist with other accounting tasks

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting gures and nancial records
• High level of accuracy and attention to details
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software

Job Title: Factory Accountant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Factory Accountant to join our bakery
manufacturing business in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Factory Accountant will be responsible for
overseeing all accounting matters within the factory, with a focus on production-related activities.
This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the
ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting:
– Support the CFO in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, providing relevant data
and insights related to the factory’s production activities, production costs, inventory valuation, and
variances analysis.
– Collaborate with the CFO to monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to
production efficiency, material usage, waste reduction, and labor productivity.
– Identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities through data analysis and provide
recommendations to the CFO.
2. Cost Accounting:
– Develop and maintain a robust cost accounting system to track production costs, including raw
materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
– Calculate and analyze product costs to ensure accurate pricing and protability analysis.
– Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies to optimize production costs.
3. Inventory Management:
– Implement and maintain an effective inventory management system, ensuring accurate recording of
raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
– Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
– Monitor inventory levels and provide recommendations for stock replenishment to avoid production
delays.
4. Production Analysis:
– Work closely with production teams to gather data on production volumes, yields, and expciencies.
– Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement, such as reducing waste, improving
productivity, and optimizing resource allocation.
– Provide financial insights and recommendations to enhance production performance.
5. Budgeting and Forecasting:
– Collaborate with the management team to develop annual budgets and production forecasts.
– Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide variance analysis reports.
– Assist in the preparation of financial projections for future growth and expansion plans.
6. Compliance and Audit:
– Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures.
– Prepare and facilitate audits, providing necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
– Address audit fundings and implement corrective actions as required.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration:
– Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and human resources, to ensure
accurate and timely financial information exchange.
– Provide financial insights and support for decision-making processes, including new product
development, pricing strategies, and cost control initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is highly desirable.
– Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting, and inventory management.
– Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
– Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Description
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Assist the Chief Accountant / GCFO in budget preparation, costing , control and monitoring.
– To eficiently handle the complete function of accounting transactions for the several companies for
cost accounting and testing internal controls i.e. reviews, reconciliation and inventory such as but not
limited to:
1. Monitor budgeted raw material rates versus actual rates on a monthly basis.
2. Supervise the costing of completed batches and report variances.
3. Prepare variance analysis and overhead cost allocation reports.
4. Analyze fixed cost and variable cost data directly identifiable to manufactured products and report
results.
5. Prepare monthly rolling estimates; actively participate in formulating timely and accurate budgetary
controls.
6. Coordinate with other HOD’s for gathering data and yearly departmental budgets.
7. Provide for the analysis of monthly MIS reports in relation to productivity, sales and cost
respectively.
8. Verication of BOMs with physical manufacturing processes and carry out BOM reviews for fast
moving and slow moving products and suggest for any changes that may be required.
9. Review system standard and update monthly scrap/crushed/recycled material rates.
10. Review present costing systems and modify the same to reect exact and updated costs of each
product.
11. Direct and ensure the effectiveness of I.T. systems / software’s related to costing and stock
controls
– Perform financial data evaluation and interpretation in non-technical approach with adequate
recommendations for submission to the Management.
-Establish, coordinate and execute adequate plan of feasibility projects and results.
– Manage and mentor staff for proper timely accounting of daily transactions and ensure proper
recording in the ERP system.
– Prepare ad-hoc reports as per requests of Chief Accountant/GCFO and whenever required by the
Management.
